Abstract: In this dissertation, the author investigates the issue of achieving the delicate balance that companies have to mantain between the conflicting demands of time, cost and performance in order to meet customer requirement. Selected tools for time to market reduction are presented, including, supplier management, prototying, data management, cross-functional team integration and management of the "fuzzy" front end.
