Title: How metastatic cancer cells become resistant to apoptosis

Abstract: Breast cancer is the second most common type cancer in women. This paper shows that the metastatic breast cancer cells present stronger drug resistance compared to its origin cancer cells. The mechanism of the drug resistance of metastatic cancer cells were studied by using MTT assay, Immunostaining and Western Blot. Results showed the mechanism of this drug resistance mainly rise from the high ABC transporter and SOD2 expression.
