A signal processing software is very crucial for data acquisition from a signal measurement source. Without the software, the signal cannot be translated into useful information. This project consist of a visualize programming software known as LabVIEW and optical measurement tools in the lab. LabVIEW program is used to create installable software in computer that establishes a connection from the spectrometer and computer to acquire the data generated by the spectrometer. The developed software is able to acquire the data in real time for variable and time study. The milestone of the project will be discussed. During the process there were challenges faced due to the restriction of the LabVIEW, for instance the limited functions that can be performed by LabVIEW. In conclusion, the project has successfully met the objectives. The software has been fully developed and tested by researchers with spectroscopy in the lab. From now on it will be used to support PhD and researchers in SIMTech for data acquisition.en_US
