Industrial attachment with ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

Abstract

This report is to summarize the real-life training experienced, professional skill obtained,

and management knowledge acquired in the entire 22 weeks tenure as an intern in

ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, Lubricants & Specialties, Jurong Lubricants Terminal.

Several projects were tasked to the student and this report will highlight a selection of

the various projects in which the student has benefited from its engineering principles.

The report will cover the projects that the student was proactively involved in, such as

Improvement of 1L Packer Bottle Counting, Create M&R Job Safety Analysis

Documentation Template and the daily tasks of assisting the west plant maintenance

engineer.

Through conducting these projects and assignments, the student had an invaluable

opportunity to obtain the skills which are not frequently practiced in school, such as

interpersonal and communication skills. At the same time, analytical, documentation,

presentation, computer software skills are enhanced.

The projects covered were duly completed and objectives successfully achieved. The

following report will also further cover the student learning process to serve as a timely

documentation of how the Industrial Attachment program has broaden his horizon in the

engineering field.
