Abstract: In large cities, traffic congestions are quite common, especially during rush hour. However, these congestions may be avoided by guiding drivers appropriately and effectively. In order to develop an effective route guidance, we need to be able to track and predict the traffic flow in real-time. Indeed, if we can predict how the traffic will evolve over time accurately, we may be able to forecast potential traffic congestions and determine a route guidance schemes to avoid them.
