Development of multimedia educational software

Abstract

With advance in e-learning technologies and increasing use of computers, interactive educational tools are becoming more popular and are being widely used around the world. Learning and teaching environments in many educational institutions are being enhanced with the help of IT and computer technologies for effective learning. This project aims to develop an interactive learning website for students in the discipline of Engineering Mechanics, which would enable them to have a better and effective learning experience. This project focuses on the Fracture Mechanics. The interactive learning web pages are made up of detail explanations and concepts of the Fracture Mechanics with animations and tutorial problems with interactive features.
