|Title:||探讨新加坡华族舞蹈之“南洋风” = A study of “Nanyang” style Chinese dance in Singapore||Authors:||吴思慧 Goh, Stephanie Si Hui||Keywords:||DRNTU::Humanities::Language::Chinese||Issue Date:||2015||Abstract:||近年来政府一直致力于推广华族文化，华族舞蹈因此在新加坡也越来越受到关注。华族舞蹈的发展与时代的政治、社会、文化和思想有着密不可分的关系，尤其是新加坡作为一个具有四个种族的国家，它以包容不同种族的胸怀促进多元族群文化的发展。新加坡华族舞蹈融合各族文化，再加上新加坡色彩，体现本土文化的特色。作为新加坡具有代表性的华族舞蹈学院 ，在聚舞坊努力的推动下，逐渐创造出一套独特的新加坡式舞蹈，促进华族舞蹈的发展。本文将探讨新加坡华族舞“南洋化”的现象，并以聚舞坊的舞蹈作品为案例研究，主要研究华族舞蹈在新加坡的传承与发展。As the government do their utmost to preserve the Chinese culture, special emphasis has been placed on Chinese dance. The development of Chinese dance is closely related to Singapore’s multiracial society, which makes up of mainly four ethnic groups. Dance items merge the essence of different ethic cultures to present a Singapore style of dance , which is known as “Nanyang” style ( Nanyang Feng ) so as to promote racial harmony and cultural interaction among the ethnic groups. Being one of the strongest Chinese dance schools in Singapore, Dance Ensemble of Singapore has established an uniquely Singaporean dance by incorporating local themes onto the basics of Chinese dance.
