Title: Preliminary study of nanosize ceramic powder for powder injection molding
Authors: Pook, Siew Fei.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Manufacturing
Issue Date: 2005
Abstract: This project incorporates two routes of experiments. Route one of the experiments consist of evaluating powder metallurgy compacts formed using two types of nanosize AI2O3 powders. For the second route, powder injection molding samples (i.e. needles) were molded, debound and sintered for testing and evaluation. Vickers hardness values and SEM micrographs were studied and evaluated on these samples.
