The objective of this study is to find out Singaporean 's dietary habits and attitude towards healthy diet. This study also provides a second view of the public campaign for healthy lifestyle promotion, in particular healthy eating among Singaporeans from the view of individuals rather than that of the government. The impetus of this report arises as the government is placing increasing emphasis on health promotion and the prevention of diseases . There is also a growing concern of healthcare costs and the direct link between health and diseases to productivity and hence the economy of the country . The study hopes to capture the concern of health and diseases from the perspective of individuals themselves . To achieve the stated objectives, a primary research was carried out. Questionnaires were administered to a sample of 150 respondents from the general public. Using a statistical programme, the data gathered was analysed to give meaningful insights to the study. Some limitations of this study were highlighted and recommendations were made to facilitate future research. This chapter entails a discussion of the motivation and objectives of the study . Next , the limitations of the study is put forward . Finally, the organisation of the report will be highlighted .en_US
