Abstract

This study focus on the modus operandi of several Banking Systems and Services, namely, ATM, Credit Card, EDI and Electronic Trading in the Foreign Exchange Market. We will elaborate the features of two popular electronic financial services; the credit card and ATM. An in-depth study of breaches in security was done for the ATM, EDI and credit card topics. These three subject matters were chosen to summarise the general security problems faced and the countermeasures adopted in our technological environment.
