Abstract: This project aims at an objective study of various kinds of existing medical imaging modalities such as CT Scan, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Ultrasound to illustrate and review the importance/role and use of these medical imaging techniques to quantitatively guide in manual and/ or robotic surgery, as well as to evaluate their usefulness and safety from the point of human-interface.
