Abstract: As population around the world grow rapidly, forming megacities of the future. It is evident that such growth would require elaborate planning on a major scale. Designers and engineers of all natures have been working on making products, experiences as well as systematic functions simpler and faster with far less resources than before. The purpose of this project is to look at the bus transportation system in Singapore, by reinterpreting a design that could have commuters’ experience redefined and improved. The study will take reference of existing products available in markets around the world. In this Thesis, we will study the complications that affect the user experience of bus commuters in Singapore and look at how design can help improve such experience.
