Abstract: The aim of this work is to exploit the remarkable mechanical properties of CNTs for advanced composites, through comprehensive studies on the interfacial characteristics between the CNTs and the matrix materials, the tensile stiffness and strength, the long-term fatigue behaviors and mechanisms, as well as time-dependent fracture predictions of CNTs and their composites.
