Living / leaving

Abstract

Living/Leaving seeks to convey the emotional experiences of a caregiver following the death of a loved one. Drawing on my personal experiences, thoughts, emotions and memories, I explored the tension between the living and the leaving, and the absence and presence that persist following the passing of my father. The project draws out the complex and some times conflicting emotions encountered in human relationships, family ties and letting go.
