Title: | Little maud | Authors: | Petrina Anne De Souza | Keywords: | DRNTU::Visual arts and music::Film | Issue Date: | 2015 | Abstract: | This report aims to serve as a guide into the development of the film Little Maud. It will bring to light how the idea was first stemmed, and how it blossomed to be the film that it is today. Little Maud is a narrative of what goes through the mind of a father, who fears that the close relationship he has with his daughter will one day grow distant. It was inspired by a poem by Galway Kinnel called Little Sleep’s- Head Sprouting Hair in the Moonlight . What sets this film apart is the way the scenes are interweaved with a balance of live action and visual effects along with its near complete omission of dialogue, with the intention of exploring different approaches to which a story can be expressed | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/63323 | Schools: | School of Art, Design and Media | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
