Abstract: Flirt is an installation that seeks to provoke participants thoughts through an intense bodily experience in a performative space. This is done through stimulating the desire for courtship. Participants will enter the space, dressed in various constructed garments. These wearables, a signifier of courtship displays, are embedded with lights. The sculpture, Orii-wall will respond to participants’ garments through changes in shape. Orii-wall will morph itself into a sequence of shapes and patterns. This creates an intimate connection between the participant and the Orii-wall which portrays a non-verbal dialogue between wearer and wearable.
