Title: | Trolled | Authors: | Lim, Clara Peck Khee | Keywords: | DRNTU::Visual arts and music::Animation | Issue Date: | 2015 | Abstract: | This project happened due to a sudden agreement in a partnership with my current FYP partner, Tao Kai Yuan. Though we have very distinct styles that are worlds apart, we thought we can learn from each other, and make use of each other’s strengths. In this project, learning was my main goal. I wanted to learn more about character design, storytelling, animation and background painting. As a result, I tried my hand at everything from start to end except for storyboarding. Of course, the end product is important to me, but the learning process matters to more. With the help of our desired choice of supervisor, Davide Benvenuti, who agreed to take us under his wing, we learned a great deal under his supervision, although we also went through a great deal in the midst of this project. But I mentioned before, the learning process is more important to me than anything else. As Theodore Roosevelt once said, “there is no effort in error and shortcoming”. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/63347 | Schools: | School of Art, Design and Media | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
