Abstract: This paper is about the design of the controller for the DC-DC Buck converter. The design has already been done by the previous FYP student and the final output is desirable. However, several things had been overlooked by the previous student, and therefore they will be further discussed into the report. The report will kick-start with the introduction on what is a DC-DC Buck Converter and its uses. Then a brief look on the designing of the controller and the compensator, and lastly what steps or methods were used to modify the project. Afterwards, there will also be problems that were encountered along the way and also how did the project arrive into its current state. At the end of the report, the achievements will be discussed and also the conclusion/further recommendations for the project.
