dc.description.abstract | In this project, a mathematical model for building load profiling will be designed. It will be classified into two types: residential and commercial building, the main difference between them is the operation scheduling which means the usage of the electrical equipments. By setting certain specification of equipments into the building, load profiling will be simulated for both types of buildings. By adjusting the scheduling of certain electrical equipments and changing the desired temperature, the amount of energy saving will be calculated. It will lead to reduce the peak energy requirement and minimize the overall energy consumption. EnergyPlus software is used in this project to simulate loads for a given building design. All the parameters and adjustments will be set in this software. | en_US |
