Abstract: Neutral cell adhesion molecules (NCAMs) have important roles in many aspects of neural development and function. Members of the L1 family of neural cell adhesion molecules are important in normal human nerve system development and nerve generation. In this study, we expressed and purified L1-Fc and ChL1-Fc molecules of the L1 subfamily using stable-transfected cell lines.
