In recent years, companies are continuously exploring ways to improve business operations in order to strengthen their competitive advantage. Hard Disk Drive (HDD) manufacturer, Company X faced the pressure of introducing new product to market at a more frequent interval due to the shortened life cycle of HDD product. This change is mainly posed by the increasing demand of data storage capacity from customers. The traditional Sequential Product Design and Development (SPDD) methodology can no longer meet the new product introduction lead time.en_US
