Abstract: SociaLight is a social-oriented lamp that provides centralized lighting and acoustic entertainment. SociaLight also can be controlled by a mobile application. A user can adjust the intensity and color of the lights, as well as the music and sound direction. This report presents on the design and modeling of SociaLight. This include studying the design concept, analyzing every single part and feature of the SociaLight, and design the lamp accordingly. On the other hand, we also discuss about the assembly procedure to ensure the SociaLight is assembled and able to function not less than what it is intended to be. Autodesk Inventor pro 2014 is being used as modeling tools. Modeling is important to portray and represent the design. Other than that, it also helps the designer and audience to visualize the idea. Last but not least, we discuss about the possible improvement to be done on the design.
