Abstract: In this project, a method to evaluate the total cholesterol in human serum is presented. The estimation of cholesterol and its ester was based on their reaction with cholesterol esterase, cholesterol oxidase and peroxidase. Meanwhile, the correlation between total cholesterol in blood serum, pure cholesterol and hydrogen peroxide was presented.
