A brief introductory of the reliability analyses methods developed by the previous generation of structural engineers, alongside with adequately detailed information of the current era’s deterministic probabilistic and semi-probabilistic methods would be discussed in this report. Conclusively, a few concerns in the study of the design reliability of structures would be addressed.
