Title: Wireless Communication between flying vehicle and base (A5039-141)
Authors: Hagiwara, Yuki
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering
Issue Date: 2015
Abstract: The project aims to develop software that enables an operator, in the absence of visual contact with the flying vehicle, is able to keep track of the flying vehicle’s position with the sensors on board. The data transmitted from the flying vehicle to the base can determine the position of the flying vehicle. The report presents the various approaches to meet the aim of the project. Both the flight controller and Android smartphone were used in the experiments to acquire accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer data and comparisons were made. Processing and filtering of the data were made to turn the data into useful directional data.
