Life insurance selling is one profession that has yet to gain public recognition. The objective of this study is to examine the Singapore life insurance selling as a profession. The study group examined whether the 1 if e-insurance agents in Singapore meet the criteria of being professionals, and from it deduce whether the agents have acquired the professional qualification. As the life insurance industry has a growing concern over the level of professionalism among agents, the study group looked into the efforts of the life insurance industry in upgrading the agents' professionalism. The study group also policyholders' survey conducted and a life two surveys a agents' survey.
