Title: | Compact VLC audio transmitter and receiver with sub-woofer circuit | Authors: | Ong, Chih Hoo | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Integrated circuits | Issue Date: | 2015 | Abstract: | In the past decades, visible light communication (VLC) system has been widely researched by many for the benefits and the possibilities that it can provides. One of the advantages is the data transfer speed that VLC can obtain as compared to conventional wireless communication (e.g. radio frequency (RF) or infrared (IR)), which has the highest transmission speed up to 75Mbit/s [1], whereby VLC has the capability to transfer data up to 10Gbit/s [2]. Hence in this paper, VLC system will be introduced into a transceiver will allow wireless transmission of real-time audio and video with high definition (HD) quality. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/64653 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
