Abstract: The project invovles a review of traditional as well as electronic procedures related to service procurement, a critical assessment of the benefits and what could be done to ensure that quality does not suffer. A cost analysis using the actual bidding data was done to estimate the cost savings of using the electronic auction. Feedback from contractors particiipating in the auction was also analysed.
