Abstract: The project is about developing an indoor location system on iPhone platform with the help of IT CC2540 tags and iBeacons. This dissertation begins with a description of background, which explains the problems encountered in a real world. It describes how the outcome of the project will be able to play a role in our everyday life. The objective and design scopes are given to provide a sense and direction of the project. Next, the steps and procedures taken to develop the iPhone Application software are discussed to provide reader an in-depth understanding on how and why it is programmed in such manner. The performance of project outcome is illustrated through real time simulations, produces correct and accurate results. Lastly, the dissertation concludes with project outcomes and recommendations for potential future work.
