Abstract: Every year about 10 SMRT passenger become victims of gap accident, making development of effective device to minimise the gap between train and platform one of top public safety priority. This project first defines the existing gap, then design and model a device named as MRT Gap Filler with solidwork. Finally the anticipated outcome of Finite Element Analysis and mock object test is the identification of realistic gap filler.
