Abstract: An autotuning simulation platform consisting of a program built by C for the autotuning of PID controller which keeps the PID controllers in closed loop is develop in this paper. First, a virtual process was established using Matlab, which should be stably controlled in closed loop. Then a database was built using Microsoft SQL server, through which the data of virtual process exchange with the data of PID autotuning program. Finally, a PID autotuning program was designed, which can tune the parameters of the PID controllers according to the state of the virtual process.
