Abstract: A tire monitoring system is an essential part of cars and other traffic vehicles to help people know the working condition of tires. A good tire monitoring system should apply a robust wireless communication module to guarantee the reliability and stability of the system. As a part of wireless communication, baseband coding plays the most important role here. In this project, the selected coding method is Turbo Code which is one of the most popular for baseband coding and has a very complex and variable structure. For the simplicity of tire monitoring system, a relatively short length and less complexity 2 Turbo Code with generating function of g = [1, 1+D ] is put into use. For a better l+D usage of Turbo Code, a fresh design of the interleaver under the concept of magic square is introduced. The error rate in this design can be low to several 10-4.
