dc.description.abstractThis report will provide an account of designing a next generation portable vehicle, which we have decided to research in the form of a portable electric scooter. It will highlight the primary stages from generation of ideas to research on recent portable electric scooter models to prototyping. The flow of the portable electric scooter idea development will be as follow: 1. Opportunity Identification and selection 2. Idea generation 3. Concept evaluation and selection 4. Development phase (Technical Task) 5. Finalised Idea The prototype is examined and explained in the Discussion section on the usability of the design, and in each of its respective features. This report concludes with the invaluable lesson learnt, reflections and challenges faced during the course of designing and prototyping a portable electric scooter.en_US
