Abstract: This project is divided into main 2 parts – cloud computing and GUI . The cloud server was deployed by the author and the testing and implementation was carried out on android and iOS mobile applications, discussed in the results and storyboard section of the report. Cloud computing: is progressively replacing the traditional IT model ,especially in business sectors which are unable to in keep pace with the immensely rapid rate at which technology is evolving .These business find solace in cloud computing as it conquers the challenges of our disparate IT model bequeath to us by mergers & acquisitions and finds a solution to the dwindling economic capitals available for IT advancement . [2] The objective of the first part of the project was to set up a cloud server and this presents to you the idea of cloud computing as a way to describe IT service offerings which are untethered from the need to own and maintain the infrastructure which supports them. Research shows that 54% of organizations are already using public or private clouds, thus leaving ample of room for further growth and development. [77] This project aims to achieve this objective of growth, by deploying a cloud server and hosting a mobile application. It portrays cloud server as a provider of the building blocks for swift and easy development of everything- form a modest mobile application to complex websites. The cloud deployed in the project, not only lets you host applications and websites, but also serves as your own personal storage server and allows you access to your database from anywhere, at any time.The novelty arises from the integration of prevailing technologies with innovative new business models for software and service provisioning virtualization. While several online cloud services have been around for a while - such as email, information hosting, data storage etc - the concept of the cloud as a platform for applications is still evolving. This project demonstrates the use of cloud server as a collection of services, applications, information, and infrastructure encompassing pools of compute, network, information, and storage resources. GUI : With the advent of science and technology, digital gadget and computers are invading every sector of the human life. These new gadgets require a highly level of mastery ,to achieve the maximum benefits We are still at the beginning of this new journey , where the ability of humans to master the usage of these gadgets is an import topic of discussion and research . For this reason the interaction between digital product and humans is a highly important field of study [44] This project deals with both Android and iOS applications .The essence of a GUI, is the appearance of the application resulting from its’s features .The Specific color combination, Specific layout, Unique graphics of icons, icons and hyperlinks Color scale and contrast are integrated to create a visually appealing picture.Each step involved in the GUI design process form capturing the pictures ,editing, design and programming play a vital role in the ultimate outcome –The interface which plays an integral role in a gadget or application as it can be the difference between a bestselling product and a reject product
