This paper looks into optimisation models for surface management at the airport. Many literature studies were performed in this field of study previously but none of them were done specifically for the Singapore Changi Airport. This paper aims to find a probable solution for the increasing demand for efficient surface management and to improve on the existing taxiing routes for arrival and departure aircrafts at the Changi Airport. A proposed optimisation model was chosen and experimented to investigate on its feasibility. However, further detailed feasibility studies will have to be followed up for Changi Airport to be able to reap the full benefits of the optimisation model.en_US
