dc.description.abstractThe communication is the component necessarily for all the activities such as the social cohesion, the education, the commercial and the service. It appears in different environment from the working place to the university, and it is absolutely indispensable in the link between the individual with the family, the friends, the colleges or the managers. The power of communication is improved with the feedback such as backchannels, which include not the information that is being changed, but the management of the communication and the expression of attitude and intention. To develop more helpful of education or commercial through Group discussion, team work, etc. The investigation of back-channels is absolutely essential. In this project, I introduce a method for acquisition the back-channels in English and analyzing of the back-channels in the form of audio signals. This project also involves the annotations of back-channels to allow more information to classification the back-channels.en_US
