dc.description.abstractThis report details the work undertaken by the author towards the "3D Projector"project undertaken as part of the "Diffractive optical elements - design, display and testing" at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. The work was completed during the period from September 2014 to April 2015. The objectives set out at the beginning of the project were for the student to understand diffractive optics design, optimise the system fabrication, display holograms using digital holographic projector system, and optimise the 3D holographic projector' design at the Center for Optical and Laser Engineering (COLE) laboratory at NTU. A review of background theory is supplied, along with the steps taken in the design optimisation process. Testing section was set in the results. Project objectives were completed due to the stable and clear dynamic images.en_US
