Abstract: The aim of this paper is to share new experience and highlight the construction technology and management skills to all future potential owners, architects, engineers and contractors, so that better designs, suitable construction methods and efficient use of underground space usage can be achieved. This paper will present important information on the Norwegian Method of Tunnelling, contractual matters, use of commercial explosives, technical specifications and related environmental issues. Difficulties, problems and solutions encountered will also be highlighted in the dissertation.
