Abstract: The main objective of the research effort is to study the effectiveness of adopting risk modelling and simulation techniques to analyse the financial aspects of infrastructure projects. The importance of the topic derives from the current necessity of understanding the element of risk in project financing, which is commonly applicable to most major infrastructure projects with private sector involvement.
