This dissertation centers on the importance of an effective project management system application for offshore heavy construction projects. The intent is also to emphasis the required depth and management techniques required for successful planning and execution of projects in the harsh and often unforgiving offshore environment. In the Oil and Gas Industry, it is normal and common to have design engineering, fabrication to be located far from the actual installation site. The plan and actual application of this project management application for completed projects is studied. It is based upon the author's personal experience and direct involvement in the case study projects.
