Abstract: Human body measurement data are widely used in these days to meet the growing demand industries such as clothing, entertainment and healthcare. Ever since the use of Microsoft Kinect has paved a way for body measurement, researchers and companies have been looking into ways of getting the measurement fast and accurate as possible. This report will investigate on accuracy using Kinect version two for Fast Human Body Measurement Based on A Single Kinect [1], which existing proven to be fast and number of satisfying measurement using a single Kinect version 1. Specifically, it investigates the feasibility of using new Kinect version with existing method, construct through capturing of multiple views of a subject’s body and use of skeleton data to construct the 3D model view. The experimental results of this report shows the increases of the accuracy than the previous works while still producing akin human body measurement quality.
