Abstract: Information visualization is the technique to represent abstract data visually which reinforces human cognition. It is highly applied in scientific research, digital libraries, data mining, financial data analysis, market studies, manufacturing production control, drug discovery etc. It has become the tool to communicate and encompass lots of information in a graphical form. Such visualization’s can be understood and perceived clearly by the human mind. The main aim of this project is to design the visualization technique that best suits the collected data, to implement the visualization method and lastly to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed visualization methods. In this project information is visualized from the Human Ageing Genomic Resources (HAGR) website, which is a collection of human and animal genomes related to longevity and the relations between them. The visualization encompasses the relations between the human and animal genomes and also the manipulations performed on the genomes. The overall result of the project is an effective visualization of genomes, which is simple to use and learn. Also, the user will mainly be able to view and analyse the genomic information which can be useful for research work on longevity genomes.
