Contractual and legal aspects and risks of design and build projects in Singapore

Abstract

The dissertation introduces the design liability in Design and Build and later examines the management of design risks in Design and Build. Four local cases were presented, illustrating the recent trends of Singapore’s court in dealing with the legal issues. Some recommendations were made in the light of understanding the shortcomings in the present system.
