The project, to build a visual based tourism assistant system, is a joint project conducted by Chen Liyang and Zhou Xinzi. The system is available to its users as an installable application on mobile phone or wearable devices, such as see-through glasses. The core functionalities of the system are locating the user using video stream from camera, and marking objects surrounding the user.
