To each their own

Abstract

To Each Their Own stems from the artist’s curiosity of her and her family’s obsession of collecting mass amounts of useless things and her compulsion to link memories to objects. Through the artist’s intervention of deconstruction and reconstruction of the objects collated in her home, the project seeks to question the purpose and meaning of the things we own. To challenge the perspective of what is normally easily recognizable into something unfamiliar.
