Abstract: Based on Singapore's context, this study looks at the Master Plan for sports facilities. It provides a review of and a critical analysis in the planning phase of sports facilities provision. It involves the understanding of community needs based on the current conditions and also the projections of future needs. There are constraints and implications and many considerations to look into. The criteria used for the provision of sports facilities and the recommended facilities to be provided are also discussed.
