Abstract: Baraman is a 2D animated short that features a superhero who can transform into a magical boy to fight evil. Inspired by the Japanese magical girl genre, this film aims to question the male gaze and strength of femininity through comedy. This report documents the process of making the animated short from conceptualization to compositing and highlights the artistic decisions made along the way.
