Title: E-tutoring system for junior college mathematics I
Authors: Xu, Ke
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering
Issue Date: 2016
Abstract: In today’s increasingly growing e-tutoring market, few systems provide quality e-tutoring for Junior College Mathematics I with both quality practice and sufficient interaction. This project starts with an in-depth analysis on e-tutoring and moves on to implement a powerful Moodle-based e-tutoring system for Junior College Mathematics I by adopting STACK for Mathematics assessments and creatively synthesizing various technologies for synchronous and asynchronous e-tutoring. The system introduces effectiveness and efficiency to distance education whereby it helps the students get involved in the course through the whole learning process including lectures, quizzes, tutorials, revisions, etc. It serves as a single comprehensive platform for conducting quality e-tutoring.
