Title: Design and build a step-up switching regulator

Abstract: This Final Year Project report highlights research studies about switching regulators and by using the MC34063A device the student was required to design and build a step-up switching regulator during the final year of the study. The operation principles, design considerations as well as calculations will be illustrated in this report. Moreover, circuit construction information and functional test and its results will also been reviewed. Finally, according to the final outcome of this project, conclusions will be made and issues encountered will be discussed.
