dc.description.abstract | Basically, this project is to develop one database application for social networking. The results of this project can be customized and applied into many other areas. This social networking platform involves many different entities, including registered users, topics/classes, articles posted by users and comments (text comments, likes and dislikes). After this platform is launched, a great amount of data would be generated by various activities. We can make use of these data to analyze the user behaviors, such as what kind of writers and articles is most popular among all the users, what kind of comments people like to give and how often users make a post on the platform. As we all know, the 21st century is the era of data explosion. Big Data has become the most valuable resources for modern society. Meanwhile, social networking platforms are able to produce substantial data. It has been greatly important to have good social networking platforms and perform accurate social network analytics using these platforms. | en_US |
